October 7th 2023, we are paddling for Maui which was devastated by fire. All crafts welcome including Stand up paddleboards, Kayaks, Surf-Ski, OC-1, Lifeguard boats, and prone. Awards: we will recognize 1st through 5th place for each category. Minimum of 2 craft in each category to get an award. It is on the Bayfront near: Pedals and Paddles 1200 Route 35 South Seaside Heights, NJ Stewarts’ Root Beer Drive In Seaside Heights, NJ 08751 Please look for the yellow buildings and park to the left of the building. Use "Stewart's Seaside" for GPS directions Registration from 7am-9am Open 5 mile race will start at 9 2 mile rec race will start at 9:10 200 yard Children’s race will start upon completion of both open/Rec race. We will have a buffet lunch following the event and encourage entrants to bring a dish of food for the after party. Fees: there will be a gift card requirement for entry with the min. Amount of $50 for the open and rec race. Children’s race will be no charge. Gift cards could be visa/Mastercard of any home goods store( the Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Amazon)
