Get ready to paddle in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most stunning coastal gems! Registration is officially open for the 2026 USA SUP National Championships, taking place September 18–20 in the beautiful, historic host city of Gig Harbor, Washington.

Against the backdrop of the iconic Puget Sound, this premier weekend features four thrilling events: the 5K, 10K, Technical, and Sprint races. This year, we are breaking new ground with an Inflatable SUP category across all four events. Plus, if you or someone you know has been waiting for the perfect moment to dive into the sport, we’ve added a brand-new Recreational category to the 5K—it's the ultimate, low-pressure way to experience the pure thrill of racing while having an unforgettable time on the water.  

An event of this scale doesn't just come together on its own, and we want to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to our incredible Race Directors, Kristin Thomas and Tod Cole and all of the volunteers on our National Champs race committee. Their tireless dedication and endless hours of hard work behind the scenes are shaping this up to be a stellar, world-class experience for athletes and spectators alike.
